Pinot Noir is a deeply atmospheric painting whose colours shift dramatically with changing light. In bright natural light, its rich burgundy, plum and wine tones become more visible, while cooler lighting can reveal subtle purple undertones and warmer lighting brings out softer pink hues.
In low-light conditions, the painting takes on a much darker appearance. The right side, which contains deep black tones, becomes almost entirely black, while the burgundy areas can also appear nearly black.
